You are individual athletes, teams, dancers and crews – but you are now selected as one NZ team.
Being selected to represent New Zealand is a great achievement, and one you should be very proud of.
This webpage contains some essential information that you’ll need in order to get going on your journey.

What do I do now that I’ve been selected?
Read this FAQ section, and think about whether you’ll be able to get to the World Champs.
There are some considerable costs involved, but it is an amazing opportunity to take your skills to the world stage!
Once you’ve decided, complete the Team Agreement document and Registration forms.
All selected individuals, coaches and crew managers that are part of the team MUST complete this form.
Is there a team manager?
The NZCAF Executive Committee has appointed Gemma Laing as 2019 Hip Hop Team Manager and Debbie Norton as 2019 Sport Aerobics Team Manager.

The team manager will:
- be your point of contact for any queries
- complete the entries for your crew using the official entry system
- organise the team entry payment
- organise the team jackets (that all dancers and coaches need)
- keep you updated with all information about World Championships
- administer the team and enforce the team member agreement during the event.
How do I get more information
There will be regular correspondence with crew coaches and manager in the leadup.
We will create and use a facebook group to manage communication and questions.
Please contact the Team Manager if you need to be added to this group.

How do I enter?
The team manager will take care of your entry.
Entries are due to the World Championships event organizer by 25th September.
To complete your entry we need to know the names of your crew’s dancers.
Please email this to the Team Manager by 7 September.
How do I pay my entry fees?
Entry fees will be needed to the NZCAF account by 21 September.
NZCAF will take care of the international transfer and associated fees.
How do I get to Worlds?
You are responsible for your own flights.
You should plan to be in The Netherlands for the entire length of the competition. The run order of the event will not be finalised until a few weeks out.
What does it cost to attend the World Championships?
Team members are required to cover their own costs.
Past events have cost roughly $5K per team member, including flights, entry fees, and accommodation.
We recommend you fund raise and apply for grants.
Please note: You are responsible for any and all travel and accommodation payments and bookings that you make.
