* 32 Counts

The compulsory 32 count is a requirement in some NZCAF categories. However, this 32 count does not feature in the FISAF National Categories.

Coaches/athletes are not required to remove it – but not that it would be judged as a low impact 32 counts of choreography with no skills aerobically.

** Open grade athletes

If you are in NZCAF Secondary Open and do not have free-falls (split landing / push up landing) in your routine, you have the choice to compete in the FISAF Novice categories corresponding with your age group. If any coaches are unsure, please get in touch with the NZCAF Technical Committee

FAQ

How do I become a member?

  • Participate at the 2023 NZ Sport Aerobics Open
  • Pay membership levies separately – contact nzcaf.treasurer@gmail.com

Do I have to enter the NZ Sport Aerobics Open?

We strongly recommend all athletes compete at the NZ Sport Aerobics Open.

Our panel (which includes Internationally qualified judges) will be giving feedback on routines and choreography ahead of the Pacific Open.

The NZ Sport Aerobics Open is also the selection event for the 2023 FISAF NZ team. Only selected athletes will be able to enter the FISAF International categories.

Is there a team manager?

As this is an open event, all competitors and coaches are travelling independently.

Am I representing New Zealand?

Only athletes who compete in the FISAF International category are representing New Zealand. These athletes have been selected for the 2023 FISAF NZ Team.
